11:22 Boating: Person calls Lifeguards reporting two PWCs speeding in the Ski Beach area. Lifeguard vessel stops multiple PWCs in the area, educating and warning.

12:06 Medical: Lifeguard responds to 14 year-old female seizing at Wavehouse. Medics advise and release patient.

13:41 Enforcement: Lifeguard vessel enforces two PWCs in Kendall Frost Reserve. While on stop, PWCs get stuck, Campland rental chase boat comes to assist their rentals.

13:52 Medical: 10 year-old female at La Jolla Shores Lifeguard tower having an allergic reaction to blueberries. Medics transports patient to Children’s Hospital after Epi-pen deployed.

15:08 Medical: 21 year-old male with ankle injury at Monaco and Sunset Cliffs after jumping off cliff into water. Lifeguards and Fire respond. Medics transport patient to Sharp Hospital.

12:37 Swimmer: Multiple lifeguard units respond to reported jumpers at North Ingraham Bridge. Unable to locate.

11:12 Medical: Unknown medical aid requested for a 21 month-old male in the parking lot next to the Lifeguard tower in Ocean Beach. Unable to locate patient.

12:46 Medical: Man seizing at Tower 30, La Jolla Shores, Lifeguard, emergency, and medical units respond. Medics transport to Scripps La Jolla.

13:50 Medical: Male with chest pain/shortness of breath on a kayak off Marine Room. Lifeguard PWC picks up patient and brings to medics on beach. Patient advised and released by medical.

16:13 Swimmer: Lifeguards rescue swimmer in distress after falling off a raft in Mariners Cove.

18:22 Enforcement: Call of three men assaulting seals at La Jolla Cove. Lifeguards/San Diego Police investigate and are unable to locate individuals.

20:10 Other: Concerned citizen calls for someone standing at the foot of the water for a while at Santa Cruz cross Bacon. San Diego Police contact the individual and determine no aid necessary.

07:13 Cliff/Medical: Police, emergency and medical units respond to bottom of Ladera St. stairs for person with possible gunshot wound. Lifeguards and Fire help carry patient to top where they transport to UCSD.

16:36 Other: Missing 5 year-old on bayside, Jamaica Ct. Lifeguards and San Diego Police help reunite.

18:15 Medical: 55 year-old female with seizures. Lifeguards/Fire on scene, unknown outcome.

11:00 Medical: Lifeguards receive a report of a 21 year-old female with neck injury from a surfing accident in the area of Santa Clara Place. Lifeguard arrives on scene and packages patient. Medical transports patient to Scripps La Jolla.

15:37 Swimmer: Ranger reports kayakers yelling for help at South Casa Beach. Lifeguards respond and assist two kayakers to safety.

15:54 Medical: Stingray victim at Tower 11 South Mission Beach. Lifeguard responds and treats the victim at the South Mission Lifeguard station.

16:17 Boating: South Mission Lifeguards report kayaker with paddler in the air waiving in the center of the Mission Bay Channel. Rescue unit responds and reports the kayaker was signaling other boats to avoid collision.

18:00 Medical: 911 caller reports a 20 year-old male with a head injury at the foot of the Box Canyon trail. Patient on the beach, lifeguards, emergency and medical respond. Lifeguards make initial contact and transport patient to the foot of Black Gold Road. Patient is turned over to medical and is transported to Scripps La Jolla.

14:00 Medical: Homeless male complaining of cardiac issues. Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond, Medical transports to Scripps La Jolla.

18:26 Boating: 911 caller reporting an overturned PWC off De Anza Cove, occupant yelling for help in the water. Rescue vessel responds from the dock, rights vessel and tows to Ski Beach.

19:07 Medical: 65 year-old male fainting at Missouri St on the boardwalk. Lifeguard responds, fire already on scene handling.

10:32 Medical: Traumatic injuries/separated shoulder at Pacific Beach Drive, Lifeguard on scene, medical transports 40 year-old male to Scripps La Jolla.

12:07 Boating: Possible fuel in Bilge in 26’ vessel, Sea World Marina. Lifeguard vessel investigates and finds oil leak, USCG contacted to report.

15:02 Cliff/Medical: 19-year-old female with possible cold water urticarial reaction on beach at Young Hall, Lifeguards assist Fire with carry out. Medics advise and release patient.

14:34 Boating: Lifeguard vessel responds to VHF mayday call in the Channel for 24’ Skip Jack “BOOMER,” who lost power due to overheating. Rescue vessel has skipper drop anchor and await Vessel Assist. Clear.

Apr 6

11:29 Boating: Vessel adrift at Mariner’s Basin. Lifeguard vessels respond and assist the owner of the vessel Ursla, which then leaves Mission Bay.

14:35 Medical: 23 year-old male with an allergic reaction at 1100 Coast Blvd. Lifeguards and medics respond. Medics transport patient to Scripps La Jolla.

14:24 Enforcement: Possible assault in mariners Basin aboard sloop. Lifeguards and San Diego Police respond. Reporting person states boyfriend assaulted her. Lifeguard vessel brings assault victim back to reception dock to meet with San Diego Police. No complaint filed.

Apr 4

16:50 Swimmer: Caller reports a 5150 in the water south of Big Rock. Unit 32 and 3 Sam respond to find the person was witnessed leaving the area.

19:51 Boating: Caller reports 26’ sloop (CF6630GX) adrift and dragging anchor in Mariners Basin. Rescue vessel responds, captures and tows sloop to its original location, resets anchor with more proper scope and clears without further incident.
