01:48 Swimmer: Lifeguard and San Diego Police units respond to Crystal Pier for someone supposedly yelling for help in the water. SD Police on scene with two intoxicated swimmers who went in the water and came out clear. No one in distress.

10:42 Cliff: Multiple Lifeguard units respond to Boundary Line for two people stuck on the cliff with a K-9. Both victims and dog raised to the top.

12:03 Medical: Lifeguard and Medics respond to the boardwalk at Diamond St. for a 32 year-old male with chest pain. Medics transport patient to unknown location.

13:55 Medical: Lifeguards, Emergency, and Medical units respond to the boardwalk for a 55 year-old female, possible diabetic emergency. Medics transport patient to Scripps La Jolla.

15:42 Medical: Lifeguard, Emergency, and Medical units respond to The Pennant for a 40 year-old male with back injury. Medics transport patient to Scripps La Jolla.

10:28 Boating: PWC speeding near swimmers in South Pacific Beach. Unable to locate.

11:06 Medical: VHF channel 16 call from vessel Privateer with 40 year-old. female having seizures onboard. Lifeguard rescue vessel makes contact and crew goes onboard. Patient brought to headquarters and transported by Medics to Scripps Memorial.

11:23 Medical: Dislocated shoulder, 28 year-old female at Santa Clara Place on the beach from a surfing accident. Lifeguards and Medics respond. Medics transported patient to Scripps La Jolla.

12:00 Boating: VHF channel 16 call for 22 ft. Key West that was disabled in Quivira Basin. Lifeguard vessel tows disabled vessel to safe area to anchor and await Vessel Assist.

13:53 Medical: Head injury, 20 year-old female on the beach at Avenida de la Playa. Kayak accident, paddle to head, loss of consciousness. Lifeguards, Emergency, and Medics respond. Medics transport patient to Scripps La Jolla.

14:09 Boating: PWC accident, South Pacific Beach, 38 year-old female with arm injury, and facial lacerations to multiple victims. Multiple Lifeguard units, San Diego Police, and Medics respond. Medics transport arm injury patient to Scripps La Jolla, other victims advised and released.

14:37 Medical: Fall, 3000 Mission Blvd. 30 year-old male. Lifeguards, San Diego Police, and Medics respond. Medics transport patient to Scripps La Jolla.

14:38 Medical: Laceration, 9600 La Jolla Farms Road. 37 year-old female. Lifeguards respond, patient self-transports.

15:51 Boating/Medical: Propeller Injury, Paradise Point Dock, 30 year-old female, 18’ Duffy rental boat, Patient jumped into water to rescue dog that jumped into the water and was propped by her rented vessel. Lifeguards, Emergency, San Diego Police, and Medics respond. Medics transport patient to UCSD.

17:11 Diving: Missing diver, Yukon. Lois Ann dive boat hails Mission Bay Lifeguards on VHF channel 16 for a diver swept away from their dive boat. Lifeguard rescue vessel responds and locates the victim and reunites her with the boat.

17:47 Swimmer: Tower 16 Lifeguard with a raised arm in the water. Multiple Lifeguards and Medics respond. Medics transport patient to Kaiser.

08:15 Medical: VHF channel 16 call of female on vessel with numbness from the waist up. Lifeguard rescue vessel responds to unknown location north of Mission Bay. Lifeguard vessel locates vessel off Mission Beach. Patient advised and released at dock.

15:01 Medical: Lifeguards, Emergency and Medics respond to foot of Newport for 38 year-old female with chest pain. Fire to handle.

15:48 Medical: Lifeguards, Emergency and Medics respond to La Jolla Shores for 59 year-old, head vs. bottom. Medics transport patient to Scripps La Jolla.

Aug 30

11:00 Medical: 67 year-old female, fall from bike at 3200 Mariners way. Lifeguards and Medics respond. Patient transported to Kaiser Zion.

14:30 Medical: 23 year-old female, sick kayaker off the Marine Room. Lifeguards and Emergency unit respond. Victim brought back to beach by Lifeguard Jet Ski. Patient Advised and released.

17:22 Boating: Two children hanging off a disabled PWC near Ski Beach dock. Lifeguard rescue vessel responds and provides tow back to dock; no injuries.

17:23 Medical: Man down with pre-existing injury at the foot of Garnet Ave. Lifeguard, Emergency, and Medics respond. Patient transported to unknown destination.

Aug 29

09:45 Medical: Call box call from Tourmaline for a stingray patient. Lifeguard responds and transports patient to Pacific Beach main tower for treatment.

14:17 Swimmer: 911 call for a person that jumped off a wall into the water in Ocean Beach. Lifeguards and Medics respond and locate 29 year-old male with ankle injury. Medics transport patient to UCSD.

14:58 Other: Daughter reports her father missing after taking a SUP out from Fiesta Island. Lifeguard vessel locates father and reunites with daughter.

14:35 Medical: 911 call for 27 year-old female, dehydrated at the foot of Citizen’s Trail. Patient advised and released.

18:11 Medical: Santa Cruz Lifeguards request medics for a 20-year-old male with altered level of consciousness. Emergency handles medical aid.

Aug 28

06:00 Boating/Enforcement: San Diego Police transfer of an 18’ vessel beached at Windansea with 6-7 individuals exiting and heading east. Lifeguards respond. Border Patrol was on scene at 05:30 trying to locate individuals. Air Marine Ops handling salvage.

11:00 Swimmer: 2 swimmers in the water ¼ mile off little point; reporting person was concerned. Lifeguards respond and make contact. all clear.

11:14 Swimmer: Swimmer in distress ¼ north of Crystal Pier outside the surf line. Lifeguards respond and make contact. All clear.

13:54 Boating: Reporting person states 25’ vessel illegally moored to a buoy in Mariners basin. Lifeguard vessel responds and posts vessel in question.

14:46 Medical: 32 year-old female with convulsions/seizures on the beach at Ladera St/Sunset Cliffs. Lifeguard, Emergency, and Medical units respond. Helicopter medic on scene with patient. Patient transported to Kaiser.

16:00 Medical: 16 year-old male with possible allergic reaction to meningitis shot from day before has difficulty breathing. Lifeguards, Fire, and Medics respond. Fire/Medics handle, unknown destination.
