I'm still amazed that McDini's now does a 18+ Hip Hop club (BAR105) on Fri/Sat nights! Gotta hand it to them for changing and finding ways to gain more customers!

Also, has anyone been to Niederfranks lately? I keep meaning to go there and get a scoop of their delicious lemon cream flavor.

One more thing, props to Frank's Barbershop on 8th Street for doing such a great job!

Follow up to the earlier comment about McDinis, they also have a "tardeada" every Sunday afternoon from 4:30 - 8:30. Mainly an older crowd but also some younger faces. Latin Breed plays corridos, cumbias, boleros and even a little James Brown, War and Doobie Brothers. Good times!

Off the I-5 in National City, I never knew but the SAn Diego Electric Railway Association has a museum with a large train set up for kids. There are also old train cars. Who would have thought? Everything you always wanted to know about trains at 922 West 23rd Street.
