Zapf falls to Campbell
Good riddance!— November 15, 2018 7:44 a.m.
Democrat Peters goes after McMillin
This is just another example of how incompetent the city administration is. It is also an prime example of how corrupt developers are when dealing with the city. You just can't fix stupid.— November 14, 2018 6:09 a.m.
Carlsbad, Cardiff dinging RVs
I wish I had such big problems.— November 13, 2018 6:09 a.m.
UPDATED – Opposition remains for La Jolla Jewish center plan
The comment by Pat Reginald Tillman shows that hate of Jews is alive and flourishing.— November 12, 2018 6:21 a.m.
Too bad, San Diego
It has been a while since I was able to find the wage/benefit rates and have been unable to find them. SD drivers have better pay and better benefits than EDCO provides. As the older SD employees retire the defined benefit pension plan goes with them. SD employee, except the police, have a 401k style retirement plan. SD drivers have more holidays and an overall better contract. The wages are higher in SD but EDCO is getting better.— November 11, 2018 6:35 a.m.
The slow end of the Kalasho regime
15% vote for him so there is your proof that there is no limit to human stupidity.— November 11, 2018 6:31 a.m.
Man denies murder by the pool
This dirt bag as no choice but to plead not guilty. After the preliminary hearing the negotiations begin between the DA and the defense attorney. If a plea deal is reached then the dirt bag will plead guilty. In any event he will spend the rest of his worthless life in prison. Three hots and a cot at the expense of the taxpayer.— November 8, 2018 6:57 a.m.
Israel treats La Mesa bureaucrat
La Mesa Commissions are voluntary positions and advise on various issues. There is no conflict per se but I do not see any benefit to the City of La Mesa.— November 8, 2018 6:54 a.m.
Developer Moores in last-minute SDSU money move
I am sure that the City fathers (and mothers) will screw up the negotiations with SDSU and the taxpayer will eat it. It is clear that there are more people who like SDSU than like soccer. Any stadium that is built could accommodate a soccer field. In spite of Soccer City's hype soccer is just not that popular.— November 7, 2018 7:28 a.m.
Too bad, San Diego
Plastic trash cans vs. metal pronged mechanical loaders the plastic trash can always loses. The cans, no matter how well treated, can last only so long. I doubt any SD City drivers left for EDCO as SD has better pay and benefits. Unless, of course, the SD drivers were ones that had been terminated.— November 7, 2018 7:25 a.m.
