Lemon Grove councilman accused of drunken violence
It seems that Lemon Grove just can't get their act together.— March 4, 2018 7:15 a.m.
Baseball-bat attack
OB is full of dirt bags.— March 4, 2018 7:10 a.m.
Not good, Chabad
All religious groups should loose their tax exempt status. They are noting more than a business whose sole purpose is to separate you from your money.— March 4, 2018 7:08 a.m.
Watchtower done looking the other way?
The purpose of religion is to control what you do, say, think and to separate you from your money.— March 4, 2018 7:05 a.m.
Paramedics can make more money bagging groceries
The problem is the for profit contracting system. City (Fire Department) Paramedics make decent wages and benefits and provide service at no profit. Cities contract to AMR and their ilk to provide all or part of the paramedic services to "save money". The only way contract ambulance service providers can make any money is to cut corners and reduce wages/benefits. The money to pay the top company management has to come from somewhere and they always come from out of the employees pocket.— March 3, 2018 7:25 a.m.
Trash-can salvage 101
Plastic trash cans have a useful life span and need to be replaced. The city requires that each resident have a specified number of trash cans. The city provides the trash can, picks up the trash, therefore they are responsible for their care and handling. I have used these type of trash cans for years and have not been able to damage them short of running over them. I think that residents should stand up and file multiple suits against the city. Like you I'll bet they win.— March 3, 2018 7:15 a.m.
Doug Manchester versus a killer pizza oven
Texas deserves Papa Doug.— March 3, 2018 6:54 a.m.
National City teachers protest the lack of supplies
Every time the teachers get a raise in wages and/or benefits the useless overpaid administrators feed at the trough only at a much higher dollar amount.— March 3, 2018 6:53 a.m.
Watchtower done looking the other way?
Just more proof that there is no limit to human stupidity.— March 3, 2018 6:52 a.m.
Raised sidewalk + broken kneecap = $137,500
$137,500 is not much considering the medical treatment. I would have been less if the City had paid the claim. The City always denies the claims filed against it as many of the claims go away because the people filing the claim can not afford an attorney.— February 28, 2018 7 a.m.
