Sweet Cheeks' Baby: Hybridized Future Sexual Chocolate
“Sweet Cheeks was inspired by the fact that, from my experiences, when one goes out to a bar or venue and wants to hear different music, no one ever thinks of the ladies, let alone the music that creates babies,” Popcorn & Jelly promoter Marcus “Mawkus” Rosario told the Reader last month.
“Sweet Cheeks was created to provide a space for new music you wouldn't ever really hear, focalizing on hybridized genres that could essentially be broken down to be described as ‘future sexual chocolate,’” said Mawkus of the monthly night which got its start at Til Two Club in March.
As always, there will be Ring Pops on hand to accommodate dance floor engagements.
"It's Fourth of July weekend," says Awnode, "but you'll find the real fireworks at Sweet Cheeks tonight."
Sweet Cheeks will be hosting a special San Francisco edition at the Madrone Art Bar on Friday, July 29.
