Okay, that's a weird title. I mean, I'm a Charger fan. And, there are lots of idiots in the world. Hell, I just read about a guy that shot one of those traffic light cameras and got arrested for it. The craziest thing was, he didn't even get a ticket for running a red!

Charger fans complained so much when the Chargers lost a playoff game, and the other team did the Shawn Merriman dance at the 50 yard line. LaDanian Tomlinson, the best (and one of the classiest) guys in the league cried about it. He said that was disrespectful.

Well, how about going to your own teammate, and telling him that it's not respectful to do that dance when you get a sack. And, how bizarre is it to even be doing these things, when your team is underachieving this year?

And, for all of you that say that's a part of sports, well...you've never really played sports. You don't know the first thing about good sportsmanship, or being on the receiving end of something like that.

The funniest thing is, you can listen to Charger fans complain about a Randy Moss or Terrell Owens do something stupid. Yet, they don't acknowledge when a Charger does.

Similar to when Padre fans love throwing syringes on the field when Barry Bonds was here (which was kind of funny), yet...I wondered...why these same fans never threw any out when Ken Caminiti was winning an MVP here for the Padres.

I think all that dancing stuff should be reserved until after winning the game. Then you deserve a little dance.. but not simply for a sack, tackle or even a touchdown.

I liked Barry Sanders of the Lions. He just tossed the ball to the officials and headed to the sidelines every time he scored. That's sportsmanship.

Yes, Tomlinson did cry after that New England game and it was a sad moment for him. I can look past that one incident from him due to the circumstance, an emotional season ending playoff loss.

I believe that the anger and disappointment he had after that loss was at his own team for not performing well enough to get that win. Seems that he needed to vent on something (especially with the media hound looking for a reaction from him) and chose to direct it towards the other team and their lame antics.

I think you can interpret it as possibly another class act by him although it did come off a bit whiny. I don't have a problem with him attacking those field dances for I have always hated them.

Makes me wonder of who or when was the landmark for these silly and arrogant on field celebrations. Was it the Icky Shuffle? I remember as a kid about the only thing you might see in this regard would be a guy standing over his victim and looking down on him like, "Yeah, I just knocked the sh!t out of you."

As for Caminiti, none of us knew about his hard on for roiding.

Well, I don't blame LT at the time for that either. In fact, he just showed what a stud competitor he was that day, getting angry about it all. I always found it odd when SD fans praised Tony Gwynn for not going to play for the Yankees for $10 million a year when he could've. Yes, that's great. But, shouldn't he have also wanted to win a ring? Yet, he was content to sit here, while a fire sale was going on, and do nothing. But, the fans bought into this notion that he did it because he "loved the fans of San Diego." So...the fact that LT (who obviously has some clout), can't pull Merriman aside and say "Dude, you look like a complete idiot. And what happens if we get knocked out of the playoffs, AGAIN, and the other team does that to us? What about coaches telling players not to, so they don't get a 15 yard penalty? Speaking of Icky Woods, Sports Illustrated did a "where are they now" story. He was last deliverying meat for some company. I would love nothing more then to order some. When he delivers it, tell him I'm making more money than he is, and do his little Icky Shuffle in his face. It takes stuff like that, for these idiots to learn. As a kid, like you said, they spiked the football, or stood over the opponent. When Mark Gastineau did his stupid stuff, he'd get flagged for it.

Yeah, I don't get the celebrations after a sack or really any of it. Should you be celebrating just doing your job and that's what you're getting paid millions for? Should we start doing these dances in the corporate world too when we have successes? As far as Caminiti, I think the roids were discovered AFTER he retired from baseball. And Tony? That's just classy not to be a "bat" or "icon" for hire. I think if he left, it would have tainted his image a little.

It's fine that Tony didn't leave. I just hate people saying he didn't leave because he wasn't "greedy". That makes no sense. He made millions from the Padres. He had a good life in SD. That's why he didn't leave. Just because he didn't want to make $10 million, over $3 million, doesn't mean he's not "greedy".

Regarding Barry Sanders, what a great runner, and a class act. I can't believe he retired so close to that record. Yeah, even LT doing his little ball flip, kinda bothers me. Like Emmitt Smith says, when he didn't even spike the ball..."act like you've been there before."
