A lot of fun sporting events over the weekend.

I never watch any kind of auto racing. But, I happened to be home in the middle of that Indy 500. And, I was rooting against Danica Patrick. When she first got into the sport, I rooted for her. Because she took so much crap from everyone, for a variety of reasons. And she was a good sport on Letterman (and raced for his team).

But over the years, I've seen her complain and whine so much, I was now hoping the overrated racer wouldn't place.

She was in 7th for a lot of the way, until a pit crew accident by someone else caused her to fall into something like 23rd. Yep, she's complaining about it.

Lots of great NBA. For once, the playoffs are exciting as they had been decades ago.

The problem is, I hate the Celtics and Pistons, so I can't root for either of them.

I was a hardcore Lakers fan for 25 years. But I hate Kobe. Sure, he's the best player in the NBA, but he's a jerk that complains to the refs after each of his shots.

On the weirder side of sports, I heard the autopsy reports from that guy in Atlanta who after a Braves game, fell to his death down a stairwell.

An autopsy wasn't needed. The guy had been drinking and decided to slide down the railing. And, he ended up falling 150 feet.

All his friends were saying he was a good Christian.

Maybe Christians should only have wine in church.

If alcohol makes people do stupid things, I think it's up to the persons friends to give them the heads up.

Say "Dude, you shouldn't drink so much. You become obnoxious, and other fans don't need to hear you."

Well...according to his beliefs and his families, he's in a better place now.
