Where are the documentary filmakers. There is no end to the scandal! My policy is to question anything the city or the UT is pushing. The best solution is likely the exact opposite. SD has been like a mini Bush Administration except its been going on WAY longer than 8 yrs. Thanks Fred. And I am such a freak I didnt even spell weird right. Hopefully I fixed it before the rest of my 2 viewers read this. The Gloria thing just gives me a real bad gut feeling. There is too much there that isnt right. I hope people will figure that out. Dear Stephen, I guess this means you are the offianado on credibility issues. I stand behind facts, strictly facts. Please list the 1000s in developer money he took. If you have facts, lets see them. I am willing to give Todd alot of slack--I mean if Todd had taken "some" developer money, like from 1,2 maybe 3 developers. I would say OK maybe some slipped through the cracks, but come on, the 2 candidates do not even compare on that issue. I can give you facts all day long. And John Hartley...please, if Todd had received that endorsement from the 3rd highest vote getter, he'd be all over it. Since when is Todd's campaign fundamentalist Christian? Are you proud of an indicted strip club lobbyist, Wolfsheimer. I'll take strippers prostitutes etc any day over their lobbyists. And this ludicrous argument that he took money from "firms", you yourself have argued a candidate cant receive money from a "firm", only an individual. Who are the individuals that have given Stephen money that you are referring to (not who works at their company). In the case of Perry Dealy, yeah he works FOR Manchester but as their president and CEO. In the case of Epsilon, the people work FOR Epsilon, but they are all high ups like CEO, contract procurement, owner, people that have a huge financial stake and have publicly touted their need of the Manchester project. Lets agree to stick w/ facts--think court of law--what would hold up, what would not. If Todd cares so much why did he take money from the president of Manchester Development and 9 highranking employees at Epsilon systems (Epsilon is working w/ Ratheon building missiles for this war). Epsilon has regularly voiced support for this project because they have a contract w/ Manchester. In fact the CEO Dewayne Junker (who gave Todd $270) regularly has spoken at city mtgs supporting the project. Com'on, we have seen Toni posture like this before. She voices concern and then finds a reason why we cant do anything about it aka demolition permits. Obviously, this is a big campaign ploy. San Diego continues to reward bad behavior
Last night on AM 600 whistleblower and Investment adviser Catherine Austin Fitts stated "We've been draining value out of the real economy, and the proposed bailout will just funnel investments into propping up the bubble, the plan will actually send money from Main St. to Wall St., instead of the reverse. What's going on with the bailout is more than theft, "it's a coup d’état" –-a "reengineering of government institutions,". She also pointed out that there is 4 trillion dollars that has disappeared off the books in the NY fed reserve bank and no one can or will account for it. And this "plan" will give Paulson the authority to shred the documentation. Write your reps. Oppose the bill.— October 2, 2008 8:14 p.m.

I also think people should know the GLT is censoring any comments on Gloria that reveal this specific info. My comments have been censored, erased, and disregarded many times. In the recent article on the HTC debate someone asked if Todd really took money from Manchester people. Someone posted after that "No its not true, total lies". I posted a comment, that said "I am the one who questioned him on this at the debate and yes it is true--I did my research at the Center for Policy Initiatives. He also took money from many heavy hitters like Sherm Harmer, the Baldwin family (OC developer), Nancy Graham etc. These people regulary speak against all the things Todd is campaigning FOR." I said nothing mean spirited. They would not post it, but they "allowed" me to post a much more benign comment about the gay community needing to really look at why they are voting for him. Why Independents Support Whitburn
Incidentally did anyone hear John McCain saying "the fundamentals of the economy are strong" when Gloria said that the problems w/ CCDC and SEDC were not "structural"? I heard it loud and clear. Anyone that doesnt see that Gloria is standing behind and will run the city w/ the same business model that is currently annihilating Wall Street needs to wake up!!!— September 17, 2008 7:49 p.m.
