Gloria' People Tearing Down All Whitburn's Signs
What did you lose 1 or 2 signs? I dont know a single soul on Whitburns team that would sink that low. Gloria's people on the other hand, we get phone calls everyday about the lies Todd himself is telling people. They are tearing down ALL our signs. We constantly have to go out and replace them. I don't see that happening w/ you guys at all. Obviously he has some people walking for him that will say anything. People wouldnt go out of their way to call and tell us if they weren't. OK, these are not facts "kensington". Com'on we are not in 6th grade--these are what are called unsubstantiated allegations. These are FACTS about this hit piece mailer... From Maggie McCann The main funders of the effort are LGBT activist Bob Lehman and his patron, Eugene Heytow, a wealthy banker from Chicago who has a home in Rancho Santa Fe. Lehman has personally contributed $540 to Gloria’s campaign fund. They have each contributed $5,000 toward the mailer. Additionally, Thomas Sudberry, the President of Sudberry Properties, the developer of the recently approved Quarry Falls development, provided $1,000 for the mailer, ostensibly to support the position on two propositions. Thomas Sudberry, a registered City lobbyist, had previously donated $540 to the Todd Gloria Campaign. His wife, Jane Sudberry has also contributed the maximum amount of $540 to Gloria. Other registered City lobbyists who are employees of Sudberry Properties and who have contributed to Gloria’s campaign include Stephen Haase, $540, Jeffrey Bradley, $270, Marco Sessa, $540, and Colton Sudberry, $270. With the possible exception of Lehman, none of these people live in District 3. The organization that was created to put out the campaign mailer, San Diego Voter Education Project, lists as its Treasurer registered City lobbyist Paola Avila. Mr. Avila personally contributed $540 to Todd Gloria’s campaign. One of Mr. Avila’s clients is Our Lady Of Peace parochial school; he serves as their Community Outreach specialist. Perhaps it is not a coincidence that Roxanne Govari is listed as a supporter of Stephen Whitburn in the hit piece mailer. Mr. Avila is not a resident of District 3. The organization’s assistant treasurer is James Sutton, a Republican attorney from San Francisco who is treasurer of many Republican campaigns. Sutton has the distinction of being fined the highest amount in the state, $240,000, for running afoul of campaign finance laws. See the attached news article. The irony is that the mailer identifies residents of District 3 who have organized grass-roots efforts to fight against ultra-dense development in their neighborhoods. For each of the people listed in the mailer, Todd Gloria has taken donations from a developer or lobbyist on the other side of the issue. 301 University – Gloria has a campaign contribution from developer Robert Lawrence. OLP expansion – Gloria has campaign contributions from OLP’s lobbyists and at least one employee. Kensington Terrace – Gloria has contributions from Terrace Partners’ lobbyist, Mitch Berner. There are dozens of lobbyists lined up against SOHO who have contributed to Gloria. And Perry Dealy contributed while still working for Manchester, who has plenty of other representatives for the Navy Broadway project among the other lobbyists. So lets try again "kensington", something more along these lines because as it is, you still have an "F" on this assignment.— October 29, 2008 2:23 p.m.

Eww, this is "Scary and Weird" just like us. Just in time for Halloween!! Fred you are awesome and sorry Stephen from South Park (aka someone not Stephen from Todd Glorias campaign headquarters), Fred is not a queen, he is straight. And maybe thats the problem--you just have a crush on him. I just caught on to the independent expenditure thing--thats how he hid the rest of his developer money. I have so many facts, I just dont know what to do w/ them all. The bottom line is that the Building Industry aka Developer lobbyists published a voter guide that told people who would support them and Todd Gloria is on there, not Stephen. And this latest hit piece lists Dan Soderberg as a developer---now that is laughable. Dan has been the giggest ally in the fight against developer corruption. He has volunteered his time tirelessly to the cause. Someone in that campaign is not checking their facts.— October 29, 2008 12:24 p.m.

"Irrifutable", here is the 1st problem, your spelling. "irrefutable" is the word and there is nothing irrefutable about what you allege. These allegations remind me of 6th grade when you would turn a paper in and your teacher would accuse it of being BS because you clearly didnt actually read the homework because none of your arguments are substantiated by supporting evidence. The idea that Stephen moved here to be in politics and buy an election: give me facts, I want to see e-mails he sent, faxes, letters, anything that proves this was his intention. Please Kensington and District 3 Resident, I see "Stephen from South Park" changed his name...again. Your allegations are unfounded and would NEVER stand up in a court of law. Any judge would laugh you right out of the court room. My favorite piece of evidence is the Building Industry Voter Guide. What a suprise...Todd is at the top of the list. Wow, yet another person that should be in prison backing Todd. I dont think people understand that the only reason Jennifer LeSar and Toni Atkins aren't in prison is because gay marriage is illegal. What Toni did as a city council member voting on projects that directly financially benefited her and her life partner LeSar would have been illegal. Just imagine if Donna was married to Doug Manchester. People would cry foul all over the place. This reminds me of the Bush Administration where there is all this talk of loyalty. Loyalty, loyalty, to each other rather than to the greater good. Look what they said when Powell endorsed Obama--How could he be so disloyal. I dont understand how loyalty to your "buddies" (the kind Bush has shown) is more important than loyalty to your constituents. I hope the community will see this. I know Todd has invested alot of money in buying rounds of cocktails for people to get them to the polls.
