Clawgate: Press Conference Called For Deceptive and Possibly Illegal Campaign Tactics in Gloria's Hit Piece

Plus, I dont see you guys saying anything about Todd's stance in the city atty race. I mean the community was so outraged and riled up about the prop 8 issue, yet you guys are OK w/ him towing the mayor and the developer line by smearing Mike Aguirre and saying he will probably vote for Goldsmith who spearheaded prop 22 to ban gay marriage and who also voted against a measure that would impose anti discrimination laws on people based on sexual orientation. Why is the gay community voting against themselves. Help me understand? Im genuinely perplexed by this.

Oh geez--Stephen Davis from SouthPark--your google alerts must be going crazy. A waste of time to discuss how Todd may have illegally slandered his constituents. If most people were supporting Gloria, you guys wouldnt have to launch such a desperate campaign of hate w/ these mailers. Where do we draw the line Stephen? Todd crossed a huge line by naming individuals that are not special interest and he didnt even acknowledge it. There were several citizens that were so outraged they got on the phone and made some things happen. Im really proud of these guys. Its so great to see people stand up for integrity and themselves.

yep. Amen. All you have to do is look at the Building Industry Voter Guide. They WANT Gloria. its the main literature Im using to vote. I will likely vote against everything and everyone, this self proclaimed largest and most powerful lobbyist group is pushing.

You forgot the most important: THE ORGANIZATION THAT DOES ENDORSE TODD: THE BUILDING INDUSTRY--He is at the top of the list. Why dont you put that on your flyer? They are the largest org in San Diego--Arent you proud of that huge endorsement? These aren't exactly the "best" and most reliable endorsements. I mean, you dont have the endorsement of THE Democratic Party or the Sierra Club and the vote was not even close. Susan Davis voted and supported the War in Iraq The GLT is in bed w/ the developers CityBeat is in bed w/ developers Toni Atkins: I mean do I need to even respond. She is literally in bed w/ a developer and worse a member of CCDC that is currently being investigated by the Feds GLBT: How do you think the Gay and Lesbian Center has sooo much money. The developers and the bar owners keep them fat w/ cash so when they need them they will endorse who they want Senator Jim Mills turned his back on his own legislation and said the Mills Act was overused to save homes. And all these pseudo democratic Organizations, I mean Im sure they are great, but tiny. The people and organizations that really matter could not endorse Todd because of his money. That speaks volumes.

Fred williams, you are acting so bipolar. One minute you love Stephen, the next minute you are smearing him. No, seriously, Nicole, stop posing as Fred. We are going to track your IP address. This is indicative of the way Gloria has run this campaign. Will you be dressing up and posing as Fred at council mtgs as well and angrily spouting unsubstantiated allegations at the mic. Sorry Nicole, Fred is better looking than you, and props to Fred--he wrote about this story 1st in the very dramatic piece aptly titled "Goth Marriage and Gloria", soon to become a screenplay.

All I know, is this is the funniest blog I have ever read. Fred, you are more than talented. Don't let those jealous girls (and by girls I mean you know) put you down. They are just jealous that you are no longer a homosexual. Thanks to all those who participated. I sincerely hope there will be an awards show for the best in blogs. "Clawgate" is actually pretty darn funny. Im also really a fan of the Lee Press On nails comment so maybe we could work that in--because it epitomizes both the queeniness and the bitchiness of Camp Gloria. I wrote today that the best part is that the scary "list" is composed of some of the most upright citizens we have and the handshake between the sketchy politician and the devil may be Gloria since he will have to look these people in the eyes for the next 4 yrs at council mtgs and he may have just created his very own hell.

In line w/ their investigation on "independent expenditures" the biggest loophole for developers, they caught on to your "independent expenditures" particularly the one used to send this hit piece. Ironically it tries to list all Whitburns "developers" except this is the best they could do and the so called developers are actually community activists. And the big kicker... The flyer was paid for by developers supporting Gloria: case and point Sudberry properties building the much maligned Quarry Falls in Mission Valley calling itself: Voter Education Project
