Python Parents Arrested
She is? I knew it! My first thought when I heard about this woman was she wanted a reality show like the woman in John & Kate Plus Eight. I had a feeling it was about someone looking for fame and money and seeing her trying to look like Angelina Jolie shows that she is dilusional. I think if anyone gives her a show, it's sick. About the kids though, I don't think they should be taken away unless their is physical abuse going on. Those kids could be worse off and every child needs their mother.— February 15, 2009 9:26 p.m.
Fox on the Run
My cousin John had that same Farrah poster when he was a young kid. I think it was a right of passage back then. Too funny. For us girls it was Shawn Cassidy or Andy Gibb.— February 14, 2009 3:06 p.m.

Python Parents Arrested
I was totally disgusted after more details about that woman came out as well. My best friend had a premature baby (1 1/2 pounds) and they went through so much with her. She has mile celebral palsey and is 5 years old now. She's the sweetest girl and happens to be my goddaugther too :) We all think she was a miracle. But my point is having 1 premuture baby is hard enough. This woman acted like it was not that big of a deal. She's being selfish. It is a huge deal. I was disgusted watching her in the interview with her nails done. When did she possibly find time to go get a manicure. She should be in that hospital the majorit of the time and a manicure should be the last thing on her mind. I'm not quick to past judgment but this really got to me. She's thinking about herself only and there is definitely something not right in her thinking. She even said these children give her unconditional love and there is no greater thing that being a mother but it's not what she's giving them. It's all about what they give her emotionally. It's not right. But even so, I am still on the fence about her older children and the newborns being taken away from her. That could be even more traumamtic on the kids. What is sad is the doctor that did this and her parents that sat back and let her do this. Maybe say "what the hell are you doing, you aren't married, you live with your parents, you have NO JOB, don't bring more children into the world you selfish girl" but no that sat back and let it happen. So I'm pissed at them too.— February 14, 2009 2:50 p.m.
Late Night Laughs
I heard about that Jaoquin appearance on Letterman but missed it. Your blog reminded me to do a YouTube search on it and I found a clip. A lot of the comments on there said he's like that in real life and he is serious about quitting acting so maybe it was for real. My first reaction is that it's a goof but I wonder why an actor would act like he were on drugs or "off" without worrying about what everyone else thinks about him. Any publicity could be good publicity but it's still something I don't think many would purposely do. This reminded me of when actor Crispin Glover was on Letterman. I remember seeing that back then. He was so goofy and came close to kicking Letterman at one point which resulted in Letterman walking away from the desk. Some still say that was all an act but I'm not so sure. I just watched a YouTube of that also tonight and Letterman really appears to be genuinely disgusted with the interview towards the end. Whatever the case, real or not, it sure is entertaining and keeps people guessing. I know that Andy Kaufman fooled a lot of people and that was part of his act and it was always hilarious and memorable.— February 14, 2009 2:42 p.m.
Lottery Tickets
haha excellent idea about the fake rolex! You have to be a quick thinker to turn a practical joke around on the other person which can come easily for some people. I also saw that story about the widow and her winning ticket left by her deceased husband. What a great story.— January 7, 2009 9:12 p.m.
Lottery Tickets
haha usually people don't read the back first.. you're Mom is a smart cookie. I never heard of those novelty tickets until last year. Someone got one as a birthday present and she scratched it off. It said she won $25,000. She wasn't too excited and I was thinking that was odd that she didn't even care. Well it turned out she knew about those fake tickets and just had a feeling it wasn't real and kept asking the person if it was a gag gift until they finally broke down and told her.— January 4, 2009 5:41 p.m.

This is a friend that talks a lot and always has which is a good thing EXCEPT during a movie, but she's got a heart of gold. Friends have accepted she does this but no one really flat out said "what are you doing?" Maybe we're afraid it would hurt her feelings because it's actually who she is.. she needs to talk talk talk. But honesty is usually best and she probably would respect it.— January 4, 2009 5:37 p.m.
Lottery Tickets
Giving someone lotto tickets as a gift doesn't take much thought I agree. Although some really appreciate it. I know my sister-in-law enjoys the "scratch offs" so whenever I buy a good amount and stick them in her birthday card or whatever occasion, she likes it. Since I don't play the lotto often, to me it's a crappy gift but if someone gave me a ticket and I won, it depends on the person. If it was my best friend or family member, I'd give them some of the winnings. If it was my boss at work or someone who I don't have a personal relationship with, then no. Although recently I was toying with the idea of what I would do if I won the $200 plus million dollars in the New Jersey Mega Millions. I did play but didn't win... just a dream I guess.— January 3, 2009 7:19 a.m.

lol holy hell talkers in movies.. I'm in total agreement with everyone. It's the worst, the absolute worst. I have a friend that does this and always did. There is always a discussion (with her not listening) about who will be the brave one and sit next to her. We all have shushed her and basically ignored her when she talks and asks questions during a movie but it does no good. But what takes the cake are the comments at the screen "ewww" "oh no he didn't" "run you fool".— January 1, 2009 7:43 p.m.
