bring stained glass and a breeze

no black party dress or hosiery

wear something bright and comfortable

forget mom's pearls and

grandma's rosary

no crowds or cameras

just resurrection

of a kindness

childlike responsibility

files of times

pick and choose

interested in the invisible

indifferent to all bigger than you and me

normal not normal

never tried to explain

or could

praise be

our loss

You leave me speachless more often than not and I don't even know you. Absolutely marvelous, this poem is. Unbelievably pleased. Thank you very much for sharing this poem.

Your welcome.

Been thinking about your "our loss" closing and "normal-not normal". Made me think of these quotes:

"We are not broken, though we have broken open again and again." "There is only love. All else, repeated stories exhausting themselves." Rashani Rea

“Hope” is the thing with feathers – That perches in the soul – And sings the tune without the words – And never stops — at all –
