spring ahead

awakened by

photo's of dad's and uncles in my head

not mine

searching for a feel good story

dreams can't seem to find

younger and much older

pages of a calendar

turned tossed

some saved for another time

lazy eyes

no fight

dreaming into

a swirly of cigarette smokes

holding patterns

up in a cool nights air

said my good-byes to rosie

walking for coffee after beer

blurry lights mix it up

at corners far and near

red stop

green go

passing by

boys n girls at the triple crown pub

delicious scenery

waiting for the next ball to drop

for a longer walk

let's not wake up , not yet

Q thanks for commenting / reading and mmmmm going to ponder your comment on the - comfortable barrier

Ruth Newell April 6, 2012 @ 8:34 a.m.

Key word, barrier. Oh wait, or is it comfortable? Words, mediums of communication, victims of interpretation. And perspective. Let me know what your pondering reveals.

key word: "time," because no matter where we are and what we do, it's always relative
