Liquid Geometry and ELEV8 Celebrate HM.T DM.T with Freddy Todd

Tonight, Liquid Geometry and four-year-strong bass music weekly ELEV8 combine forces to host Detroit banger Freddy Todd supported by a local line-up of OSAL8, Squama, Mastah Syphe, and Facemelter.

Syphe will be playing a special set dedicated to Liquid Geometry foundational member James Huntington, aka HM.T DM.T, who tragically passed away on Wednesday night.

Syphe’s set will include a few of James’ unreleased tracks which he had planned on debuting tonight.

"James was so excited to play this show,” says Liquid Geometry’s Steve ‘Sleeve’ Canfield. “He had talked about wanting to play with Freddy Todd for a long time. Come celebrate his life with the Liquid Geometry fam."

James was a cutting edge electronic music producer and a rad dude to boot. I find peace in remembering all the goofy banter we’ve exchanged outside the Kava Lounge, where an ever-grinning James in long hair and baseball cap performed regularly whilst gyrating in his patented wiggle dance. There’s no doubt in my mind that he was bound for great things with his music. Our community has lost one of its brightest and most explosive stars.

I love you, buddy.
