Peevey the pusher man
Fagin did teach his tricks of the trade to an entire generation of pickpockets. It is starting to look like that is exactly what Peevey did at the CPUC.— April 30, 2015 7:51 p.m.
Juan and Adrienne's Bavarian spring break
Well, yes--how else is he to learn how to act around international lobbyists?— April 30, 2015 4:36 p.m.
Peevey the pusher man
I think it is the image of the open-fingered gloves that seals Peevey as Fagin for me. He's already got the creepy smile. (San Francisco used to have "Beach Blanket Babylon". Maybe it is time for a redo.)— April 30, 2015 4:29 p.m.
Peevey the pusher man
Why is it that my mind keeps showing me Peevey as Fagin from the musical version of "Oliver Twist"? Maybe because the lyrics of "Got to pick a pocket or two" are just so very apropos. Matter of fact, Picker and Peevey could go on the road as confidence men with the best of them. Jerry Brown's best idea has been the $10,000 fine for those who waste water. What about those who lie, cheat, steal and then lie some more?— April 30, 2015 2:59 p.m.
This is a job for the master of disaster
Hurray! The 'thumbs up' function has returned!! Calling Fabiani a crisis communicator has to be the nicest thing that has happened to him in a long time!! You have a very generous soul, Don! (In addition to being a great journalist)!— April 30, 2015 2:47 p.m.

Ponzi--couldn't agree more!— April 30, 2015 10:25 a.m.
This is a job for the master of disaster
Apparently in addition to me being unable to "thumbs up" articles, I can no longer reply to articles. I guess I should be grateful that I can post comments at all! At any rate, Don, I consider Fabiani a fabulist. He should not be believed or relied upon.— April 29, 2015 9 p.m.

Maybe San Diego should borrow from the Las Vegas sign that reads "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas!" Our sign could read "Welcome to Fabulous Fabiani-land, Where the tax-paying public is abused ad nauseum", (courtesy of Mark Fabiani and friends). Perhaps San Diego is merely an amusement park for the likes of Fabiani. The price of admission is certainly getting higher.— April 29, 2015 7:56 p.m.
Water deal with Imperial Valley on the line
Wanted to "thumbs up" your comment and article, but am not allowed to!— April 29, 2015 7:39 p.m.
Picked at and peeved
Someone in the solar industry said that SDG&E has the highest rates--except for Hawaii. Which makes me think that everyone should go solar as soon as possible.— April 29, 2015 7:37 p.m.
