Things I loved about being homeless in San Diego

ME TOO!!! Masters in Physics - fatalistic, self-sabotaging behavior, etc. Fitness membership for cleaning up, short sleep periods spread out within the smaller, sedate neighborhoods, and being unable to find a satisfactory and affordable living situation. Searching online for ANY affordable living solution... Everything except the no family nearby, though there is so much violent dysfunction built into my sibling relationships due to being raised in a psychological-hell-environment that it's almost like not having any family. And the church hypocrisy thing seems to be very constant throughout the entire nation, at least in the dozen or so churches I've tried. I still fantasize about how nice it would be to find a decent place that has less problems - noise, people who break the no-smoking rules and smoke in their apartments and constantly having their second-hand smoke fill my own apartment, secure parking and building security - these are major problems in each and every place I've ever lived. I HAVE ACTUALLY GIVEN UP SEARCHING FOR A PLACE. Now I can understand why so many homeless choose life on the streets instead of a "home" - and some places are putting surveillance cameras everywhere - LIKE THAT'S A NON-ISSUE, A-OK FOR PEOPLE WHO ALREADY DON'T TRUST THE GOVERNMENT...What can these benevolent providers be thinking!?!? On the other hand ... the place I'm currently leaving has a dozen dog-owners who let their dogs relieve themselves on the walls in the hallways and even in the elevator. GROSS!!! A lot of tenants are simply gross and inconsiderate - a vast majority of tenants seem to be that way. It's just not fair to people who want a quiet, secure, clean and calm residence.

No Park Wants the Homeless or their Dogs

It's an absolute abomination that immigrants from around the world are being encouraged to come into this area, adding to the population pressures and rising prices, while citizens who are homeless are being kicked around like so much garbage. Most of these destitute citizens have decades of valuable social contribution within them and yet they're simply swept from here to there and back again. Instead of bowing to the almighty corporations, the socially- and politically-empowered citizens should force tax revenue to first go to supporting and enabling the homeless that are here, ready and willing to be of service when treated with respect and genuine compassion. Money that supports importing workers and processing immigrants should be delegated after homeless citizens have been given some first steps out of their hopeless situations. The US, however, is rapidly becoming a colder, more competitive and expensive place to live for everyone, simply because corporations have brainwashed the politically-empowered middle class to ignore the less fortunate US citizens who are filling the streets in every urban area. These politically-powerful are intent on following the corporate propaganda that dictates the importance of corporate profit over everything else. When corporations are allowed to bribe and extort US politicians, democracy no longer exists... and the streets fill with citizens who have become marginalized and disenfranchised by virtue of competition with invisible mega-political giants, colluding corporations that have gone out of control - because the Supreme Court decided that corporations deserve more political power than people. YOU WANT CLEANER PARKS AND LESS HOMELESS? GET THE CITIZENS UNITED RULING REVERSED AND GET A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT PASSED THAT SEVERELY RESTRICTS CORPORATE ACCESS AND INFLUENCE OVER US POLITICIANS.
