a mediation on a Goddess and pic of the growth
Great poem, nan. I'd love to see this poem paired with some appropriate art. And no apologies necessary. We know you're a sweetie who gives everyone the benefit of the doubt. However, in his case, there was lots of evidence, and no doubt.— January 22, 2010 9:49 a.m.

<snort> Holy hotstuff! Ya know, when I saw that guy won, I thought to myself: "Self, this is just one more instance of somebody pretty coming out on top." Assuming he's a top, of course. ;)— January 22, 2010 9:38 a.m.

"I would've made one hell of a cat burglar and con man had I gone professional instead of just trying to survive." Never too late... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7k5eEsoQ6E&featur… You may have to cut down on the beer and cheeseburgers a bit. :)— January 22, 2010 9:32 a.m.

"Trust me. I'm a hacker." The most oxymoronic t-shirt of all time, perhaps? I think of you more this way, Petey. http://images.fanpop.com/images/image_uploads/ste… At least he knows the difference between "your" and "you're." :) As for the author of this little whine festival, I don't really see anything worth responding to. Sounds like a flailing, narcissistic twerp. One more of Pete's glamour shots, for the road: http://images.fanpop.com/images/image_uploads/Ste…— January 22, 2010 9:15 a.m.

I love CMIYC. That flick was too much fun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFj3OXVL_wQ Crime doesn't pay? Really? Is everyone quite sure about that? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Abagnale http://www.amazon.com/Catch-Me-If-You-Can/dp/0767… Looks like a pretty nice life, based entirely on having been a con man.— January 21, 2010 11:25 p.m.

Re #3 & 10: I'd be more interested in a refutation of this very particular point: "4) You no longer are employed for this company. You were fired for getting aggressive with a 6-year-old boy who had wet the bed in the middle of the night. Then you complained, attempted to sue, and brought your friends and family down to stand in the parking lot with signs, in order to protest and stick up for you. The facility chose to stick up for the little boy." Clearly, this describes a specific event at a specific facility. "...it sounds like you definitely have been irresponsible and immature in your previous jobs" Agreed. What a nightmare of a mail carrier. Just a danger to himself and everyone else. A chronic f***up who never takes responsibility for anything he does. Everything happens "to" him. Bukowski you ain't.— January 21, 2010 11:09 p.m.

Cuddle, I covered that suggestion when I said she should just ripoff/recycle old radio bits. In other words, return to Standard Operating Procedure. (Probably not a very 'good' suggestion, though, considering what happened to the last guy who used that technique.) :)— January 21, 2010 7:49 p.m.

1. What's your favorite ice cream flavor, or what suggestion for a new one do you have? 2. If you had it all to do over again, what would you do differently? 3. Other than driving in California, what's the most dangerous thing you've ever done on purpose? 4. What's the best birthday or Xmas gift you've ever been given? 5. What's your biggest pet peeve? 6. What's the #1 thing that's wrong with the U.S.? 7. What's the #1 thing that's wrong with California? 8. When were the "good ole days" and what was so good about them? 9. What's the best thing you can cook, & what's your secret? 10. What's your favorite film of all time? A pretty obvious group, and I'll bet some of them have been done before. I'd also bet that most people won't remember if they have. :)— January 21, 2010 4:11 p.m.

Best of 2000: Best TJ Dentist
Well, I doubt that the prices are quite the same, but I'm still flying down to see him 2 weeks from today. :) I first noticed this dentist being mentioned in this story, and then did a keyword search for him here at the Reader site, and found this old "Best Of:" http://www.sandiegoreader.com/news/2009/nov/11/co… In fact, if you search "Solorio" on this site, you get a number of hits for him. Evidently a lot of San Diegans walk across the border to see him. And mention it on this site. I think that people just email this to let their friends know about him. I mentioned it to today to my massage therapist, so the hit on it might even have come from up here. However, the phone number above isn't quite right. I think it's 011-664-685-9086. Also, they've moved across the street. They tell me I can't miss it. We'll see.— January 20, 2010 8:02 p.m.
