American Idol -- Vanilla Flavor
Re #51: Wicked pissah! Thanks for that, Duhbya! Waits is a god. Re #58: As I understood it, Cuddle, Paula wanted too much money. Wasn't that the story?— January 27, 2010 9:06 a.m.
Velvet Goldmine
That brooch has got more bad joojoo than the Hope Diamond. Fun to imagine Arthur showing up at the pearly gates with it, or passing it off to old Charon as payment for the *ahem* ferry. :) All right, so all this talk of Wilde put me in mind of this film: http://www.zuguide.com/index.php#Wilde Haven't viewed it in a while, but I remember liking it very much. Stephen Fry has one of the most interesting actor bios I've ever read. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000410/bio He is one versatile cat, and fairly witty in his own right. My favorite Fry quote (not particularly indicative of his other comments): "Complete loose-stool-water. Arse-gravy of the very worst kind." (Speaking about Dan Brown's novel, "The Da Vinci Code.") Arse-gravy? I'm keeping that one. Can't help but wonder what his review of the FILM must've been like. What's worse than arse-gravy? Runny black dot?— January 27, 2010 8:50 a.m.

Sorry to hear your mission wasn't accomplished, refried. Sounds aggravating as hell. Better luck next time. :)— January 24, 2010 10:28 p.m.

Have MERCY! "The Citizen Kane of rock & roll movies"? Is it possible you like this flick even more than I do, Jay? Nah... Check out what I found while trawling for the "Death of Glitter" scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KluhWi8-CuQ&featur… Judging from this, Bowie wasn't too peeved about the whole thing. :) And for the peanut gallery, here's the original. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoZ_L1lEcTc&featur… GREAT soundtrack.— January 22, 2010 11:09 p.m.

Conservative Values
Hey Cuddle, ya know the difference between Dems and Republicans, right? Democrats do it with the blinds and curtains open. Republicans shut theirs, but there's nothing to see anyway. :D— January 22, 2010 3:56 p.m.
