Well, cuttlefish are "among the most intelligent invertebrates." They're apparently not squid, but are related to them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuttlefish Look at this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Metasepia_pfeff… Pretty cool, no? The cuttlefish even has a connection to poetry: "Eugenio Montale's ground-breaking debut collection of poetry Cuttlefish Bones (Ossi di seppia) was published in Turin in 1925. Montale, who grew up in Liguria along the Mediterranean Sea, was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1975, for his long and prolific career. Cuttlefish Bones remains one of the best-known and influential collections of 20th-century Italian poetry.[citation needed]" -- (also from the Wiki page). I haven't seen it since it came out, and don't remember it that well. Nominated for a healthy bunch of Oscars, including Best Picture, both Tim Robbins and Sean Penn won for their roles. And despite the fact that Duncan does not sound terribly enthusiastic about it here, he evidently gave the film 5 stars. http://www.sandiegoreader.com/movies/5654/
