In which Pike, in a stroke of Genius, attempts to reconcile Linguistics, Biology, History, and Math in one Swell Foop
"x = ∞/0" Heehee. Is that a mathematical statement or a metaphysical one, Pikey? And how the hell did you get an infinity symbol on your keyboard? :)— October 21, 2009 8:41 p.m.

Time For CPS To Ring Another One Up...
"The only sympathy this twerp is going to find will be in Webster's New World Dictionary, between "sucker" and "syphillis." Great line. :) This certainly appears to be a hoax to me. "Dad" looked like the worst actor I've ever seen. And the fact that the poor kid threw up twice during interviews just said that his whole body was rebelling against all the lying. But taking him away from his twerpy parents? (Who, you'll note, are actually TOGETHER. Bet he's one of the few kids in his class who can say that.) To go where? The foster care system? Sure, that's a great place for him. Bounced around from home to home, most likely to be abused sexually and otherwise? Is that what happens to this poor innocent kid next? And his brothers, too? Make room for 3 more, Colorado prison system.— October 20, 2009 9:42 p.m.

South Park Cat Tales: A Brief Timeline (#2)
"Bunch of nocturnal creatures here, it seems." Cats usually are, given our druthers. :)— October 20, 2009 1:27 a.m.

La Mesa: Where Knitting Pros and Beer Enthusiasts Are Born
"KCUF...great radio station." russl, I was working at campus radio station KNTU and attending North Texas State University when it changed to UNT. I BEGGED to sing the jingle. :)— October 20, 2009 1:20 a.m.
Say What You Will About E-Books...Print's Never Gonna Die!
Some of us are OLD and STILL move around a lot from crappy, lightless torture dungeon to seedy, dank torture dungeon. We have LOTS of books by then, too. And the moral of the story is: Listen to your father, and don't major in Liberal Arts. :)— October 20, 2009 1:10 a.m.

I LOVE that! I shall lounge on the chaise while Adam pops his squat (which I hope doesn't hurt too much). Evil swans abound on YouTube. Here's one of the most infamous. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPihMK_XZNw That's a great idea, honey. Biiiiiig white floaty dress, flirting with a swan. Oy.— October 20, 2009 1:03 a.m.
