Filner may be the winner in last two accusations
Don: I respectfully disagree. The one who needs to be under the microscope is Filner. The last two women coming forward are just adding fuel to the fire that this behavior has been going on for quite some time. Notice that today, Filner hired another new chief-of-staff to replace the one that Laura Fink stated she notified of Filner's behavior in 2005. Could Filner be trying to distance himself from people who had/have first-hand knowledge of his behavior? (Which I doubt would do any good.)— July 24, 2013 3:30 p.m.

Questions about McCormack Jackson suit
Don: 3) Very likely. 2) Not likely. 1) I hope that is not the case. That is something you don't wish on anyone. 4) The more accusers there are, the less likely that will ever happen. JMO.— July 23, 2013 4:34 p.m.
Questions about McCormack Jackson suit
Don: At this point, it appears that he will not have to decide what harassment is; the courts will.— July 23, 2013 12:38 p.m.
Questions about McCormack Jackson suit
Filner's statement today did him no favors. How convincing do you think you sound as you state, "I do not believe these claims are valid." Today's comments were poor, but still not nearly as damaging as his original DVD "apology".— July 22, 2013 10:29 p.m.
Development coming for vacant land at Gillespie Field
And how is the airport expansion coming on the land that Cajon Speedway used to be on? The county had to get them out right away--9 years ago. Guess you don't want to rush into anything.— July 22, 2013 5:37 p.m.
Detroit files for Chapter 9 bankruptcy
It was is if there was a race to the courthouse. The city of Detroit "won" the first round by filing for bankruptcy first. What happens if the city refuses to abide by the judge's ruling to rescind the bankruptcy filing?— July 19, 2013 1:01 p.m.
Padres could do something by doing nothing
Expect to see Quackenbush up in September, and I hope the Padres use him as a closer at some point during the month.— July 19, 2013 11:31 a.m.
Port, Sunroad sued over planned waterfront restaurant
Cory Briggs is a very busy person.— July 19, 2013 12:01 a.m.
Detroit files for Chapter 9 bankruptcy
This could be VERY interesting. I am sure plenty of cities are watching this case VERY closely.— July 18, 2013 8:39 p.m.
