One way to negotiate: threaten to blow up the plant
The Pinkertons work for Carnegie Steel, 100+ years ago, but not today.— February 8, 2013 10:36 p.m.
TV and video games may intensify violence
NU's Law School has the most awesome LS location in America. They are on Lake Shore Drive area, and the Library actually fronts Lake Michigan, I was in there a few times and could not do anything I was supposed to, the view and beauty of the area was mesmerizing. And that wall of windows overlooking Lake Shore Drive and Lake Michigan torpedo's anything serious you had planned on doing..............And one of the best SCOTUS justices of all time, John Paul Stevens, is a NW LS graduate and on their "Wall of Fame"....— February 8, 2013 9:26 p.m.
Border Patrol agents may testify
If they have independent witnesses the jury may not be swayed by the BP agents, but we are not there, and the credibility of a witness has a lot to do with their demeanor. If they are convicted they should be fired IMO. If aquitted then they should suffer no adverse action at BP.— February 7, 2013 7:31 p.m.
Man jumps from halfway-house window in Encinitas Ranch
I was the victim of a burglary where the only things of value I owned or cared about were stolen- which is what happened to the person I quoted in bold-I could totally relate to that specific comment. They were irreplaceable heirlooms. I do not object to a halfway house, only to any possible criminals using it as a base of operations. Of course my comment was over the top and not meant to be serious, just to express my intense frustration with BURGLARS.— February 7, 2013 7:24 p.m.
Man jumps from halfway-house window in Encinitas Ranch
I have a halfway house for women a few miles from me too, never, ever had any problems, I always donate goods to them, like new shoes and anything else to help the transition. I gave them a brand new $125 pair of Nike Air Max 95 a few months back, hope they got good use.— February 7, 2013 7:14 p.m.
One way to negotiate: threaten to blow up the plant
Reminds me of the labor strikes that the Andrew Carnegie steel mills had at the turn of the 20th century.— February 7, 2013 7:11 p.m.
City of Chula Vista sued by woman who fell as a result of a broken City sidewalk
I have had severe falls from bad sidewalks, and I am in shape, if you're an older woman with weak bones it could be a death sentence, 20% of women over 60 who fall and break a hip die from the injury due to the weak bone structure at that age in life.— February 7, 2013 7:10 p.m.
Additional notes on French sexual harrasser Pepe Le Pew
#Pepe Le Pew- love the guy!— February 7, 2013 7:07 p.m.

One way to negotiate: threaten to blow up the plant
LOL...blow up the joint , now that is what I call hard ball negotiations.— February 7, 2013 2:19 p.m.
