Weird start for O.B. bar under new ownership

I was one of four girls in Gallagher's Friday night when this happened. **First things first is that none of the three girls that were friends seemed uncomfortable or unhappy to be there**. Originally two girls were in there while a few guys behind the bar could be seen/heard singing into a microphone. I immediately stopped peeked over the patio window and watched. Next thing I know is a girl comes up right next to me and says her friends are in there. Then one of the two girls in there comes to the door and opens it. Myself and the other girl walk right in and sit at the bar with the two other girls. The guys behind the bar at this time are still laughing amongst themselves and talking into the microphone. The two girls that had been there before us had drinks in front of them and said they were having a blast. In fact the one girl who opened the door said "Hey, it's free so drink on their tab, who cares?" I was offered a shot and by the time my shot was placed in front of me one of the other guys jokingly said, "Show us your boobs if you want that shot." Yes, it was said to me and no one else. I laughed and jokingly replied "well here!" I pretended to pull my V-neck shirt down and the next thing I know Steve comes in. Steve took the microphone and said that he appreciated us stopping by, but a job had to be done so check them out tomorrow night. The three girls walked out before me and I walked out with Steve. At no time did anyone say come back with your areolas. The only problem those three seemed to have was that they were asked to leave without being allowed to finish their drinks. They stood outside for a good five minutes complaining about how they weren't finished drinking. That to me doesn't sound like a group of girls being verbally harassed. The next day "Diana" posted on a Facebook group about the incident. I immediately tried to correct the situation by stating it was untrue, but that wasn't before over seventy-five comments told her to seek legal action, go to the news station or how they will boycott OB Noodle or Bar 1502. As the only girl asked to show her boobs I think this is a joke. Everyone around had a few drinks and nothing said to me was taken seriously. I don't feel this story is hating on OB, but I feel that not all sides were equally defended. At the end of the day a minor incident was blown out of proportion. What I would like to remind everyone is that Steve is an amazing person who gives back to the community of Ocean Beach. He has donated hours of his time to events, donated money to Ocean Beach Elementary for supplies, and donated money to events in Ocean Beach like our 4th of July firework show. He is about building relationships, giving back and most of all having a good time. Let's just see what he does with his new business venture!
