Work for a Government and Rake in Bucks
To be fair, SD U-T, Reader, CityBeat and VoSD are all good at investigative reporting, though I think SD U-T had to be pushed into it by competitive forces.— March 15, 2010 9:55 a.m.

Bonus Blog: YouTube Classics, DUI
Yes, good eye, AG! I had no idea when I posted it that it was Reno 911, had never heard of the show. Someone whose father was a cop blasted me for it. I still think it's funny. :) Bellignorant, that's a good one!— March 14, 2010 11:15 p.m.
Burning of Bridges
Oooh, good catch, AG. Don't think so, though. Board couldn't spell susceptible.— March 14, 2010 11:13 p.m.

Sounds delish, Robby! Unfortunately for AG, she's a little north of North County. :(— March 14, 2010 10:09 p.m.
Work for a Government and Rake in Bucks
Private sector unions have taken a big hit, too, my friend. All that we've known is dying or dead, there is just a shell left hanging by a thread. Bad poetry never goes away, though! LOL ;) I think we are in one of those huge economic shifts that we go through historically, really hard to see what the end result will be. More bad poetry, think it's time to sleep now! LOL— March 14, 2010 10:02 p.m.
Welcome To The Kingdom Of The Madness!
I just read that the Aztecs are playing Tennessee on Thursday. Good luck to them!— March 14, 2010 9:53 p.m.
San Diego, like U.S., sees 2 percent growth
Twister, the Thursday Club is not being singled out. It used to be that certain public facilities could be used free of cost by non-profit organizations, but that is no longer the case. Now everybody has to pay fees, though non-profits pay substantially less than for-profits. You can call the Park and Recreation Department and they will forward you the fee schedule and policies, and when they went into effect.— March 14, 2010 9:36 p.m.
Trying to find love...
Awwwww Robbybear, what a sweet thread. It is awful that you can't at least have a little pet friend -- could be worth paying the deposit to have a dog or a cat. Just saying, without knowing your financial situation. The other thought, again not knowing what your situation is, have you considered volunteering? Local hospitals, nursing homes, schools, charities. Even community organizations such as planning groups and recreation councils always welcome new members at the meetings. A good way to meet new friends. :) And of course, we love having your company here. :)— March 14, 2010 8:32 p.m.
