Thanks for the food desert, Albertsons
I do. I spent too much time in 4th grade.— December 11, 2017 6:45 a.m.
Thanks for the food desert, Albertsons
The unions have nothing to do with how many cashiers there are. Management determines the staffing not the union. Albertson's as with all grocery stores are in the business of making a profit. They could care less about "food deserts" or anything else.— December 10, 2017 7:25 a.m.
Tennis pro's dad in hospital? Or jail?
Are you sure he isn't working on the Roy Moore campaign?— December 9, 2017 6:56 a.m.
Bridge over Chicano Park's language barrier
I have been to several gatherings at Chicano Park and have never had any problem. The Mexican people are friendly and welcoming people. The local residents have worked hard to keep gangbangers, dirtbags and druggies out of the park. Arthur Schaper went looking for trouble and he found it. If one looks one can find trouble in any park in any section of town.— December 9, 2017 6:54 a.m.
In search of state utilities commission's jugular...
The CPUC should be prosecuted under RICO. Everyone working there should be fired. The CPUC should be reconstituted and the commissioners should be elected. Our worthless legislators should stand up and be counted and held accountable for their actions or lack thereof.— December 9, 2017 6:48 a.m.
Great year for 7-Eleven beer-runners
This 7-11 should be renamed Target.— December 7, 2017 7:11 a.m.
Hard times for the United Auto Workers
I asked a friend of mine in the construction industry what he would do if his employees were considering unionizing. I expected him to give me the typical anti-employee anti-union answer but he surprised me when he said "I would fire my foreman". I asked him why and he said that if his employees were considering unionizing then it would mean that his foreman was not treating his employees fairly.— December 7, 2017 6:52 a.m.
Giant leak kills Manchester's grand-opening plans
I would think that Donald would see Doug as a winner especially if he ends up screwing contractors, banks and insurance companies. Maybe Doug is following The Art of the Deal.— December 6, 2017 6:25 a.m.
Memes of mercy for two SD men jailed in Thailand
Proof that you can't fix stupid.— December 5, 2017 7:04 a.m.
Scripps plagued by vehicular vandalism
At that time there was very little housing available closer in. He had a wife and four children and the college area was the best place (at the time) to raise a family.— December 4, 2017 7:02 a.m.
