Can't blame North Chapel plan on Corky
I wonder if there would be such an uproar if the building had been a Temple or a Mosque?— March 11, 2018 8:27 a.m.
Will the fall of Jacobs starve Faulconer?
True but follow the money and you will find who operates the politician. Especially the local bozos.— March 11, 2018 8:22 a.m.
Woman accused of looting Bonsall home during fire
I have an extensive legal background. Not a lawyer however.— March 11, 2018 8:19 a.m.
A long-term wooing most rude
And just why is Velasco still working? He should be fired and she should be offered a job. Also every person up the chain that knew and did nothing should be fired. That would send a message. Back in the day after my divorce, I was attracted to a co-worker and asked her out. She said that it was her "policy" not to date people from work. It was a nice way to tell me to bug off. The message was received and we continued to be cooperative co-workers for many years.— March 10, 2018 7:19 a.m.
Woman accused of looting Bonsall home during fire
She wasn't looting just saving the property from the fire.— March 10, 2018 7:16 a.m.
Tiny Island Court has 31 short-timers
This is a classic community (government) vs. property rights. Those who have the most money will win.— March 10, 2018 7:15 a.m.
Local journalism may not get the cash
I don't think any of this bodes well for the San Diego (non)Union.— March 8, 2018 8:48 a.m.
County loses 20,500 jobs in January
So if from January 2017 to January 2018 the county gained 26k jobs and then lost 20k jobs in January 2018 then the county had a one year net increase of 6k jobs for the year?— March 8, 2018 8:43 a.m.
SDPD gets pricey mayoral PR makeover
This is typical of our so called political leaders; hire a consultant for tons of money to come up with a slogan or tag line. If the San Diego idiot leaders want to know what the problem is ask the rank and file police officers. Get out of your taxpayer funded offices and go on a ride along with the police officers that are on the street day in and day out. As long as you talk to each other and the trapped-in-their-office command officers you will know nothing. Everything is not about pay it is about benefits, training, support, equipment etc. God politicians are stupid.— March 7, 2018 6:40 a.m.
