To some extent, this long-tenured member of the San Diego sudscape is the time machine of the bunch. Its offerings haven’t changed all that much from when it opened in the mid-nineties. Sessionable golden and amber ales remain in the everyday line-up with just one beer, an eight-percent double IPA, bucking the early days standard-issue brewpub line-up most establishments have since moved beyond. Quality has remained in a time vacuum as well, while service has deteriorated to a poor and sometimes hostile state.
