Write Out Loud: Poe & More Poe
Presented by the San Diego-based literary arts organization Write Out Loud, the event is a dramatic reading of Edgar Allan Poe’s tales and poems, performed by a cast of actors. Celebrate gothic literature with two short stories that explore themes of isolation, madness, and the unknown: MS. Found In a Bottle, and The Tell-Tale Heart. Experience the dark imagery of Poe, shared by veteran Poe performers Rhianna Basore, Laurence Brown, Paul Maley, Liliana Talwatte, Walter Ritter and Veronica Murphy.

The Links at Petco Park is a golf experience which will offer a nine-hole course through a Haunted Golf Trail within the ballpark. Arrive early or stay late to enjoy the Links Clubhouse, which will be transformed into a golf hang-out with full bar, food available, and a retail shop with commemorative Links items. Spectator tickets are available.

San Diego contemporary ballet company The Rosin Box Project presents an imaginative performance that takes you through tales of age-old superstitions, inspired by the “ghost light”, a singular bulb left illuminated on an empty stage to ward off mischievous spirits. Set on a traveling stage, Ghost Light Masquerade invites you to explore the surreal. This is a choose-your-own-adventure style performance as “spirits” guide you. Costumes encouraged and masks required.
