Since recording his debut full-length in 2000, Atlanta-based Christian Brian Bridges, aka rapper Ludacris, has released nine studio albums, two compilation albums, and 89 singles, 35 of which have made the top 40 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Known for his “Dirty South” sound, four of his solo albums have topped the Billboard 200 chart, and four more have reached the top five. He's also a Grammy Award winner and a regular in the Fast and the Furious film franchise.

Brad Paisley
West Virginia singer, guitarist, and songwriter Brad Paisley made his mark with a 1999 debut album, Who Needs Pictures, which went platinum and led to being named the Academy of Country Music's Best New Male Vocalist and a 2001 induction into the Grand Ole Opry. He’s written 21 of his 24 number one hits, and in 2008 became the first artist to have ten consecutive number one singles on Billboard Country Airplay. This stop on Paisley’s The Truck Still Works Tour includes Alabama pop-country star Walker Hayes and Avery Anna, whose duet with Sam Barber, “Indigo,” reached the top ten of the Hot Country Songs chart and the top fifty of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Gillian Margot & Geoffrey Keezer
Former San Diego residents Gillian Margot (vocalist) and Geoffrey Keezer (piano) will take the La Jolla stage to showcase music from their eponymous new duo album. A native of Toronto, Canada, Margot studied under jazz icons such as Oscar Peterson, Freddy Cole, Carol Welsman, and Norman Simmons. Keezer is a Grammy-winning pianist, composer, arranger, and producer who served as the final pianist with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. He has toured and recorded with acts like Roy Hargrove, Diana Krall, Wayne Shorter, Dianne Reeves, Sting, and Christian McBride. For this Athenaeum date, they are joined by Ben Williams on bass and San Diego jazz hero Peter Sprague on guitar.
