Atheistic: (adjective) Disbelieving or lacking belief in the existence of God. Thus it is not a religion. The problem with religion is that each religion teaches that their belief system is the "one and only" and that all the other religions/belief systems are dooming their followers to hell. One can have faith without religion. One can believe without religion. Religion can only exist if it promotes (sells) itself and extracts money from their followers. Many religions do good things but above all they are in the business of selling their particular brand to people. Extracting from them through threats of going to hell or excommunication the giving of money. Just so no one is confused an Agnostic (noun); a person who believes that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God or of anything beyond material phenomena; a person who claims neither faith nor disbelief in God.
