Not Kosher

In Chad Deal’s review of Rare Form, he described a sandwich as a “Kosher” pile of pastrami, which seems unlikely. The menu doesn’t seems to say that. Furthermore, there is Swiss cheese on the sandwich, which would make the whole thing nonkosher.

A food writer should know better.

Who Do You Think You Are?

Barbarella, your Diary of a Diva column in the September 10 issue (“Barberica Industries”) is probably the most revealing, yet embarrassing thing you’ve ever written. Good lord, girl! Who do you think you are — Steve Lopez? Yikes. You write for the Reader, for heaven’s sake!
