Saxophonist Gabriel Sundy and pianist Ed Kornhauser team up for an evening at the Turf Supper Club (1116 25th Street) at 9:00 p.m., no cover charge.

Tuesday 2
Joe Garrison and his large ensemble Night People featuring Kamau Kenyatta, Chris Warren, Dave Millard and many others head to the Loft (911 Lyman Lane) at 8:00 p.m. it’s free! … bassist Ben Wanicur and his trio with Jason Shattil and Kevin Higuchi host the jam session at 3rd Space (4610 Park Boulevard) $5 cover … the Steph Johnson Duo with Rob Thorsen on bass are at Croce’s Park West (2760 Fifth Avenue) from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. free.

Ogd_Translation Has Failed with Nathan Hubbard on drumkit/samples, Harley Magsino on electric bass and Jerome Salazar on electric bass plus the Lou Damian Trio with Salazar on acoustic bass and Andrew Munsey on drums hit The Tin Can (1863 Fifth Avenue) at 9:00 p.m. for a $5 cover … Gilbert Castellanos hosts the Young Lions Series at Croce’s Park West featuring Jarian James 7:00 p.m. Later on Castellanos is doing the jazz jam session at Seven Grand with Joshua White on piano, Rob Thorsen on bass, and Ryan Shaw on drums. 9:30 p.m. no cover, musicians bring your horns!
