Funny, after I wrote that last blog entry I noticed some new fencing around the Miramar College area. From the Park & Ride and continuing down Hillery Dr.. I wonder what they're building now.

No matter what it is, I'm sure within a few years I'll be saying to my friends "Hey, you guys remember when that place was nothing but dirt and random bushes scattered around?"

I remember walking down that sidewalk with my friends back in middle school...

It took us forever and a day to get to the movie theaters because we were so immature that we stopped in front of the signs that said "NO STOPPING" and squatted down in front of the ones that said "NO DUMPING". That, and at one point my friend, Aimee, decided that it would be a good idea to go walk around in the dirt and got stuck in the mud. She got her black punk-rocker pants dirty and said "Awww! My mom's gonna kill me!"

As teenagers, I can't say that we're much better now; but we are changing. Changing just like Mira Mesa.

Changing like Mira Mesa...I remember when the only thing in Mira Mesa was...the high school.

That Alberto's was a Burger King. And, there was a Vons.

Mira Mesa Blvd ended at Parkdale.

Now, there's a seafood market on every corner. What the hell???
