aspens quaking
their leaves fall partaking
of the first flurried snow
they can hold it like pines
but they look so divine
mischievously shaking
now that's a tree poem !!!!!

for mine i did find it hard not to use the word -hug- and not saying something about a dog peeing on the tree ...

yes it is...aspens drop their leaves but pines hold their needles and therefore snow
lot of Quaking Aspens in Colorado...beauties...before they drop their leaves in the Fall they light up like the sun (spectacular yellow)
