Political consultants who have furiously battled each other for years have founded a new consulting firm, LFM campaigns, in Sacramento, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Mark Fabiani, former special counsel to President Clinton and deputy campaign manager for Gore-Lieberman in 2000, represents the "F" in LFM. He is the lawyer and spokesman in the Chargers's efforts to get a subsidized stadium in San Diego. Republican principals in the firm will be Steve Schmidt, senior strategist for both the 2008 McCain and 2004 Bush campaigns; Adam Mendelsohn, former communications director for Gov. Schwarzenegger, and Brian Jones, communications director for McCain last year. Other Democratic principals include Chris Lehane, former Clinton spokesman, and Averell "Ace" Smith, a researcher who has worked against both Schwarzenegger and McCain.

Ugh. I'm going to vomit.
This is what's wrong with America.
Professional political prostitution is rewarded, and these slugs get gobs of money for sophistry and manipulation.
Do any of them deserve anything but repeated kicks in the head for what they've achieved in their lives?
Utter scum. I'm sure they'll be very successful.
