Suggestion Box
twister I'm using windows 7 and right now I have IE8,Firefox and Chrome opened up. The preview is working fine for me and to edit a comment you post, it's the same as it was before. You just have to click on the edit link. As for older comments, 1. yeah the Story comments | Blog comments links don't show the last 50 but it does show a page full, depending on the lenght of the comment I guess. 2. Or you can choose "all comments" which appears to show them from newest to oldest, as many as will fit on the page. I guess it doesn't work as well, in terms of it being the same, but after a few days now, I'm not have any problems finding the same things as before, just seems as if you need to follow a different path for some of them. Perhaps admin should have quoted the Borg: You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.— March 29, 2012 9:42 a.m.
Dodgers Sold For $2.15 Billion
"Recently, Forbes valued the Dodgers at $1.4 billion. Obviously, they were wrong. The Dodgers are worth $2 billion dollars." Actually they were pretty close. Of that $2.15 billion, $1.6 is for the team, $400 million is to pay off debts and $150 million is for part of the deal with McCourt for the parking lots.— March 29, 2012 9:15 a.m.
San Diego Home Values Keep Falling

April Public Meeting to Focus Only on 2007 Fires
I didn't perceive Don Bauder's comment as a joke. Sarcasm yes, but joke no.— March 26, 2012 10:42 a.m.
April Public Meeting to Focus Only on 2007 Fires
Yeah think about it surfpupppy619. Almost 6 bucks per issue. Would you pay 6 bucks just to get the print version that's at least 1/3 ads? Would you pay 25 bucks to access the web version?— March 26, 2012 10:41 a.m.
Dalai Lama to San Diego: "You Are Not Worthy"
There is a reason this column is called Almost Factual News.— March 25, 2012 8:45 p.m.
April Public Meeting to Focus Only on 2007 Fires
"That's not my department, and it's also news to me. Best, Don Bauder" Without that knowledge, then perhaps you shouldn't have made such a flippant reply to Burwell.— March 25, 2012 11 a.m.
April Public Meeting to Focus Only on 2007 Fires
Actually, if you live out of the area and have a mail subscription for the print version, it costs $299 per year.— March 24, 2012 4:19 p.m.
Take a Hikey, Mikey
Also let me apologize to the "late" Raechel Donahue. She's the wife of the late Tom Donahue, who pretty much started free form Fm radio at KSAN in the early 70's and then brought it to KMET and is alive and hopefully well, all of which my better half was so kind to remind me of. It was the late great Deirdre O'Donoghue who created BWTB.— March 19, 2012 10:57 a.m.
