IB Pier fishermen fight off surfers and restaurant
Everyone's safety should be considered. The fishermen, those who walk the pier, the surfers and the restaurant patrons. The south side of the pier is closed to allow two seperate walking lanes noted by the white dotted lines. Allowing one way direction for walking and an area dedicated for fishermen why was that not in the article? This is temporary for necessary social distancing and will not be a permanent feature. There are lots of changes the Port of San Diego is planning to improve the experience for pier users and I think it would be good to mention those plans here in the article too. Lots of oversights by whoever writes these articles.— June 16, 2020 8:26 p.m.
