Surfrider's I.B. surf contest iffy
Hi Tommy, organizations like Wildcoast, Surfrider, and many more, have been working to improve water quality in the border region. Fortunately, we are making progress (although slower than we would like to see). Fortunately, as of now, there is ZERO reason to cancel the competition. However, if there is one good thing that comes out of this sensationalized article, it's greater awareness of the problem. Now, let's go surf the border and enjoy what so many work to protect!— November 4, 2016 7:25 p.m.
Surfrider's I.B. surf contest iffy
This is not a "he said, she said" situation. The water test results are scientific evidence that there is no water quality issues. As mentioned in the previous article.— November 4, 2016 7:23 p.m.
Plastic-bag ban a no-brainer
The EIR is actually a good thing. It is an exercise the City is going through to protect themselves from litigation which would delay implementation much longer than it takes to do an EIR. The draft EIR is all but done anyhow. There are enough votes on Council for this to pass.— May 22, 2015 7:38 a.m.
