Dave Howard is a singer-songwriter who has been active in the San Diego music scene since 1990.
A multi-year nominee for the San Diego Music Awards, Howard's songwriting and stage chops caught the attention of his peers and coffeehouse patrons. This afforded him the opportunity to collaborate and hang with the emerging artists of the time; John Katchur, Frank Lee Drennen, Jeff Berkley, Lisa Sanders, A.J. Croce, Cindy Lee Berryhill, Gregory Page, Jewel, Steve Poltz and Jason Mraz. Howard's acoustic catalog is augmented by his forays into garage rock (The Shamey Jays) and ambient electronic music (Upaya). Dave's songs have been recorded and performed by more than 20 artists to date.
Dave is a father of two, stepfather of two and grandfather of three. He and his wife, Terri have been married since 2007. They live in beautiful Poway, California with their three dogs, Timmy, Victoria and Stella Blue.
