Clairemont braces for density
The traffic in Clairemont will become as bad as it is in the UTC area. When I worked near the UTC mall, it would take me almost 30 minutes to go less than 5 miles some days. It will definitely be worse with thousands of more homes built in Clairemont. San Diego has beautiful weather, beaches and locality and that is just the price of living here. I could move somewhere else and get so much more but I choose San Diego. We have a right to tell our politicians how we want to live in our community. Building more housing will not alleviate prices of homes or help much in the long run for rentals. You think the new owners of apartment complexes are going to keep rents low when they can maximize profits. Fantasy land!— July 17, 2019 11:33 a.m.
