Dreadful News
The feelings, opinions, and assumptions made in this article DO NOT accurately represent High Tide and our views. We know Reggae Makossa supports Tribal Seeds, Stranger, Rebelution, and many more mixed ethnicity local reggae artists here is San Diego. We believe that being a local reggae band in this town is not about competition, but about a one love and one support to help bring each of us up and help blow up our scene! We love Makeda Dread's work and what she does for the Reggae music culture. We are sad to see her long dedication to 91X be slandered with such naive assumptions and accusations towards her profession as a well respected DJ in this town. We hope to see her show resume the airwaves again soon. Sincerely - High Tide— June 16, 2008 3:20 p.m.
