Money Flows Out of Brandes's Investment Firm, As Stock Portfolio Fails To Perform
... actually one of the gowns at this year's opera was just a tad short of $40,000... no kidding... I totally agree that that is a mighty sum. On the other hand it took a legion of seamstresses to make the dress, so at the very least the sale of the dress employed a number of people.... each to their own but at least the money is recyled somewhat....personally, if I had that kind of money I would rather donate it to a cause. Darlene Shiley is one great example of this focus. She is known to dress simply from normal stores, as she would rather give millions to great causes. Best ** Margo Schwab who wears clothing until it cannot be fixed or donates it in good condition to Salvation Army..and no, none of my dresses had an original price tag in the stratosphere!— August 7, 2008 4:58 p.m.
Brandes Gets Mug in Newspaper, but Moneywise Gets Mugged by Newspapers
..... but I feel like I am 29 when I surf... but 29 was a long, long time ago! Best ** Margo Schwab— June 23, 2008 7:17 a.m.
