Wet combing

Use delousing shampoo

Apply the shampoo according to instruction on the label and leave it on the scalp for several minutes. Wear clean clothes after using this shampoo. Clean the old clothes in a machine with hot water or in a hot dryer for killing the lice.
Olive oil
The olive oil in your kitchen shelve can be an excellent smothering agent that kills lice. These tiny bugs supposedly die on suffocation when the ooze plugs of their breathing holes. You need to apply the olive oil overnight and put a shower cap on as lice cannot survive without breathing for hours. You also have to comb and get rid of the nits and olive oil will help to loosen them from the shafts of hair.
