Hacksaw put to local radio once again
Welcome back Hacksaw! I know your style doesn't necessarily "fit" the most coveted demographic (young, mostly ignorant, and with disposable income), but ever since you rushed back into work to cover for a workmate when their young daughter was bitten in the face by a dog; this native San Diegan realized you were EXACTLY the kind of person we want in America's Finest City. And your Father's Day broadcast that year was AWESOME.— October 1, 2017 8:04 p.m.
Chargers offer "cheapest ticket" in NFL this year
Mr. Bauder - Firstly, thanks again for your continuing solid and clear evaluations of financial fast shuffles by shady administrators and their mentors. Re: the Spanos Clan Clown Car - As a native San Diegan and Charger fan since their first day here, I can sadly assure you that the enmity toward the *owners* here have made it impossible for me or any members of my extended family to ever attend a Charger game again, even if they were free and played on Fiesta Island. The NFL needs to step in and remove the Spanos cancer from their ranks, or die along with them. It's that simple; and the whole Spanos clan must move to Carson.— September 9, 2016 12:48 p.m.
Fabiani’s Cabrera money love
Ix-Nay on the partisan negativit-Tay Monaghan. That $2.1 million EIR (a fraction of which goes to "expert" consultants, the better to fend off future nuisance lawsuits with) will also suffice for *ANY* future development at the current Qualcomm Stadium site; with the sad-sack Chargers here..., or not; i.e. the cost of doing business. No need to get all short-sighted at this point.— July 16, 2015 3:38 p.m.
Overweight San Salvador launch sunk
Javajoe25 - Locations chosen primarily as showcase stages (as was/is the case for the maximally-publicized San Salvador) will never have the logistic capabilities of a major shipyard. But even at 151 tons: Where there's a will, there's a way.— April 18, 2015 12:48 a.m.
