Scouts Place Flags at Ft. Rosecrans
Just wanted to say I enjoyed this article. My father is interred there as well as of 2005. He was in the service from 1941 to 1971. His ashes are in one of the walls. I have not been there on a Memorial Day but the cemetery is striking on any day. My son is also a Boy Scout, age 14, and when we get back to San Diego we'll make a trip to Rosecrans to visit grandpa and take in the views.— June 2, 2011 8:52 p.m.
