ACE Parking, SDPD and my Nightmare from Hell
Why do you presume I was "bitchy" or entitled? I wasnt telling them I wasnt going to pay their $12, I was telling them they didnt have the right to see my personal information. I seriously doubt you lost your ticket dozens of times and had NO problems. That right there tells me you are lying.— September 30, 2011 11:28 p.m.
San Diego Tenth Most Expensive City
Don I think alot of it has to do w/ the mortgage fraud. I have seen so many projects especialy affordable housing projects lie empty for years. I still think SD was deeply and is deeply involved in the air loan programs where properties are occupied on paper only. I dont believe there is a high demand for housing right now. I think there is alot of impetus to make it appear that there is high demand. Curious what you think about the GIANT Civitas project in Mission Valley? Its like 230 acres and the developer is Stephen Haase the ex development services director who was serving on the mayors tech advisory committee advising on land use and fees etc when the project was approved. Where is all the funding coming from? http://www.sandiegoreader.com/weblogs/ive-got-iss…— September 30, 2011 11:05 p.m.
ACE Parking, SDPD and my Nightmare from Hell
Or the Balboa Park Cabrillo Bridge being partially bulldozed for an ACE Parking Lot. In fact ACE is trying to get all of Balboa Park to charge for parking so they can run it.— September 30, 2011 10:54 p.m.
ACE Parking, SDPD and my Nightmare from Hell
and I am thoroughly convinced ACE Parking is San Diegos version of the maffia. In fact I am certain they are laundering $ for the politicians. Why is it that they ONLY thing politicians do for us here is get us parking lots run by ACE! Parking lots EVERTYWHERE!!! Todd Gloria is so proud of himself for turing the Pericanos unused parking lot into an ACE Parking lot. And look at all the giant and unneccessary parking lots Toni Atkins got us like the one in North Park where no one parks. And all the historic buildings being bulldozed to build parking lots for ACE like the Builders Supply Building on Kettner being illegally demolished after citizens spen 1000s restoring it to build an ACE parking lot.— September 30, 2011 10:51 p.m.
ACE Parking, SDPD and my Nightmare from Hell
Believe me I know. I am lucky they didnt beat me up and arrest me. My mouth often gets me in trouble since when I feel a situation is utterly unjust as this one was I cant back down. The SDPD beat up a friend of mine in Hillcrest so bad they knocked her teeth out and then covered up all the evidence. There is something really creepy about SDPD.— September 30, 2011 10:42 p.m.
De Anza mobile homes pushed out of Mission Bay
I have written about the election fraud here many times but I see very little media coverage of this topic and it is at the root of everything. Please look at this list of facts and developments on the topic of election fraud so we can solve this egregious abuse of power you detail in this story. http://www.sandiegoreader.com/weblogs/ive-got-iss…— September 15, 2011 2:14 a.m.
De Anza mobile homes pushed out of Mission Bay
nice story!!!! I was very curious about that project. Very interesting. But here is the part everyone keeps missing, yes SD is the most corrupt city in the country and the reason we cannot elect these people out of office is because of who is running our elections!!! This is the root of all the evil. San Diegans are smart and they know their City is corrupt and everytime they try and take it back the registrar keeps it in the hands of the crooks. Do you honestly believe EVERY SINGLE County Supervisor has been re-elected for at least their 4th time or 16th year? No way, but the registrar reports to the County Board of Sups as her bosses which is why they got Deborah Seiler of Diebold and Michael Vu who was implicated in the Ohio presidential election fraud to run our elections. We need much more discussion about this.— September 15, 2011 2:11 a.m.
San Diego in a Housing Bust but Mission Valley in a Housing Boom?
In regards to this project there are alot of alarm bells. 1st of all NO bank would finance a project of this magnitude in this market and no developer would have the cash to finance the project himself. we are talking 230 acres and has to be a cost of at least a million dollars an acre so you are looking at 100s of millions of dollars that are available to this developer. Where is that money coming from? Just the land costs alone should have wiped this developer out. What did he pay for this quarry land? Haase left the City of SD as Development services Director in 2006. Was he courted by Sudberry properties and told "if you join us and help us get this project through the city we will make you CEO"? It must have been a bit of work to get the zoning on all this land changed. Was Haase instrumental in that? This is just bizarre to see foreclosures everywhere and to see this massive new development going ahead full force. For 1 thing the federal govt is subsidizing the principal on peoples mortgages since so many people are underwater (which I dont agree w/ at all), but the reason prices are tanking is simple economics...too much supply, not enough demand. thats why no bank would finance this. adding to the glut only further depresses surrounding property values and increases the amount taxpayers are going to pay to subsidize the principal. There is something very wrong with this picture and I guess what I am getting at is that the only way it makes any sense at all is if they found a way w/ all their smoke and mirrors to get the public to pay for it. Thats why I really want to know how all that grading is being paid for (grading is extremely expensive), and how are all those roads being paid for and all the water and sewer lines?— August 14, 2011 7:19 p.m.
San Diego in a Housing Bust but Mission Valley in a Housing Boom?
@twister, love your comment!! yes I have to confess I have a secret fantasy that mission Valley will be swept away in a Tsunami. Of course in my fantasy no one is hurt and everyone gets out safe but Ikea, CostCo, Mission valley Shopping Center, and the 1000s and 1000s of hideous unsustainale Archstone Condos will be taken out to see far far away where they will biodegrade back into the earth. I know, the materials are likely not going to biodegrade but I would love for Mission Valley to return to an ecosystem. That river bottom as you call it is absolutely gorgeous and it is criminal that it was stolen from the people. You look at other cities like portland or even reno and you see how they designed their cities to embrace and celebrate the river and we built lackluster monstrosities that hide and block this river from the citizens.— August 14, 2011 7 p.m.
San Diego in a Housing Bust but Mission Valley in a Housing Boom?
Thanks Richzombie, I really appreciate that you read my blog. I like to know that there are other people that are awake to this unconscionable and most likely illegal behavior by our politicians and private developers. I am astounded they are STILL getting away with it. There is more than enough to convict the mayor of this city. Hopefully we can all raise awareness and take our city back.— August 14, 2011 6:55 p.m.
