President Obama is Stupidly
SD---I have a confession....I actually live on the coast of North Carolina. I came across this blog today and enjoyed the conversation... The racial profiling stats to which I was referring were given on a N.C. radio station. I was driving and could not get the exact website. It was a study out of NC State University. I, however, googled "racial profiling" and many sites popped up that support what I said. Go look for yourself. Every state seems to do a study of this type each year. Have you not ever looked up info like this? I don't think we realize how great our country actually is....right now in Africa, there is genocide going on between "black" ethnic/tribal groups just because you were born into a particular group. Do any of you remember the Serbia/Kosovo ethnic cleasing in the 90's? How about the treatment of women in Muslim countries? My daughter is adopted from Guatemala. She is a Mayan Indian. Hundreds and thousands of Mayan Indians were killed and buried in mass graves in the 80's and 90's. The sex slave trade in Thailand? There will always be racial prejudice in the history of mankind. It is just as much black against white and white against black in our country. The difference in our country is every person is given a chance to improve him/herself and do better. You are given a free preschool,public school, we feed you lunch,check your teeth,vision,give you books and computers to use, beg your parents to get involve. Go to the emergency room and you DON'T have to pay it back. Free community health clinics....I could go on and on. So the cops ask you for your ID, it racial. A private pool tell some kids they can't swim because it is too crowded, it is racial. A rouge talk show host will say some crude comment, it is racial. We are so busy being offended and in the meantime, China and India are kicking our butts in the economy.— July 24, 2009 7:02 p.m.

You can do a simple google search to find any of the stats. Please do. Race relations...I adopted a child of color and get the stares when I am out in public. My child will face certain things in her life because she is dark skinned. Is she going to use that as a excuse, no. In fact, my white male son will have to make better grades and have a better transcript than she will to get into a great college. We often joke about "checking the box" when she applies for college. We celebrate her biological background. I live in a gated community because my husband and I have worked our butts off, saved money, and built our dream home.— July 24, 2009 2:55 p.m.

North Carolina State University does intensive studies throughout the country on racial profiling...very diverse...across the board studies. Blacks are pulled over LESS percentage wise for their wise than whites. AND pulled over ever LESS during the DAY where an officer can see skin color. Do your own research. Furthermore, Obama is completely degracing the presidency. Does the man have to get on TV every second of the day? Last note, has anyone forgotten the Duke Lacross Case,the white couple that was attacked by a group of black teenagers, the UNC-Chapel Hill student body president brutally killed by two black criminals....my point,what is whites started reacting to these incidents like the black communities does sometimes....I think racial tensions are getting worse not better which is odd because blacks have so many more advantages today.— July 24, 2009 2:01 p.m.

1. If you read Obama's books he wrote before handlers got to him,you will know he does not like white people. read them. He is NOT presidential and is going to destroy the US. 2. Blacks make up 13% of the population but what % of the crime committed in the US? Go look it up. 3. The neighbors called the cops;they weren't just driving down the road. Gates followed the cops outside yelling. I would love for them to realize the audio tapes. 4. I am personally getting sick of every week there is some kind of fabricated racial issue that "offends" blacks. If you are contantly looking to get offended, you will be offended. 5. I live in a wealthy gated community. White soccer mom. I had a false alarm the other Saturday night, the cops showed up and were jerks....I did NOT say what I was thinking in my mind....I thanked them and vented to my neighbors about what jerks they were. If you scream and yell at cops, they have the authority to do what they need to do. That is life. Stay out of their way or be nice.— July 24, 2009 10:31 a.m.
