The Bob Marley Mausoleum in Nine Mile, Jamaica
The drive over from Ocho Rios is the real adventure , in most places the road is only 1 1/2 lanes. When we went there we hired a driver to take 4 of us there. He had a old toyota corrola station wagen , the back area was a massive woofer which rattled our fillings loose booth ways. And of course the real Jamaican macho NO SEAT BELTS ! Which when I found out I wished I got right out of the car then. It was probably one of the scariest car trips I ever took. And the driver hooking like crazy when he came to a blind sharp turn , there is not over 100 yards where the road is straight, all hairpin turns. Beatiful scenery all the way there though. The fence is there to keep the locals out so they are not trying to sell the tourist Ganja. Or other items. It was a great experience over all, surviving the drive was the best part.— January 20, 2011 2:28 p.m.
