Water Balloon Strikes in Bird Rock
We have had the same problem on Forward Street in Bird Rock. A couple weeks ago our car was hit by at least one water balloon as we drove down the street in the early evening. Originally I thought I hit something, but upon inspection I saw the remains of one or more balloons and water everywhere. I was unable to determine where it came from; a passing car, or a stationary point. It is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt by these pranks. Obviously there in no real damage to a car, but when it progresses to direct hits on people, the issue becomes more annoying and potentially serious.— July 28, 2011 11:18 a.m.
